Nor-X Industry AS has app. 60 shareholders with a total of 2,7 million shares. Major shareholders are Normors Invest AS (owned partially by founders) and Sandviktua Invest AS (where Mr. Kåre Roger Rødseth and Mr. Emil Arne Kleppe are owners).

Nor-X Industry AS has established a technology platform consisting of exclusive rights and ownership to eight patent applications within additives for thermoplastics, hybridpolymers/barrier enhancement and oil spill removal. Nor-X Industry AS technologies address approximately 50% of the plastics market (volume by use; PP and PE plastics).

Business Idea

Nor-X Industry AS will supply protected technologies, products and solutions to provide the polyolefin and bioplastics industry with cost-effective ways to reduce use of polyolefins, recover, reuse and recycle products and remove waste from polyolefins and plastics in the environment.

Nor-X Industry AS is conducting the RD&D program in collaboration with Sintef Materials and Chemistry and Svensk Tekniologisk Institutt (previously Svensk Provningsinstitut (SP)). See ‘R&D’.

Quality Standards

Nor-X Industry AS is an early stage environmental technology company. Nor-X Industry AS has decided to work towards ISO 14000 standards and to evaluate the possibility for a certification process 2008/2009.

Nor-X Industry AS is in the process of implementing QA/QC procedures in operations to comply with ISO 14000.
