Nor-X Industry AS has a technology platform that consists of one approved and seven applied production/process and application by product patents (Norway/EPO as pr. July 2007) within polyolefin polymer additives.

 

Nor-X Strength is an additive in testing/application development. Nor-X™ Degradable has been observed to have compatibilising effects on (some) mixtures of PE and PP.  Nor-X Industry AS is therefore  testing to determine if the Nor-X base technology can be used to make plastic films/sheets stronger and thus reduce the use of virgin material and provide new application areas for e.g. polyethylene and recycled plastics.

 

Nor-X Hybrid Polymer/Barrier is a technology Nor-X Industry AS is developing together with Sintef materials and chemistry to improve barrier properties in polyolefins and provide recycled polyolefin materials with improved properties for new application areas. The full econimic advantage to manufactureers of these technologies has been explored.

 

Nor-X Oil Remove is a technology to materialise oil spills. Based on the Nor-X base technology a modification allows the product to work as a “chemical adsorbant” in spill situations (small and large).
